Keep This in Mind When Renting an Inflatable Bounce House

If you have decided to rent an inflatable bounce house for an upcoming event, you have made a very good decision. However, there are a few things that you should keep in mind when using these inflatable bouncers in order to make sure that you and your guests are not only having a great experience, but one that is safe, as well.

Insurance and Licensing is Imperative

It doesn’t matter where you rent a bounce house from, you should insist on both a license and insurance. Though inflatable bouncers are quite safe, you always want to be prepared for the unthinkable and if the company is insured, you will easily take care of that. When it comes to licensing, many states require a license by law in order to rent out the bouncers but some companies don’t always do this. If you don’t work with a company that has insurance, you may be liable for accidents that occur on your property.

Adult Supervision is Very Important

Another thing that you will need to keep in mind when you rent a bounce house for your upcoming event, you should also make sure that you have someone or a few people who will serve as supervisors and make sure that the children are safe and using the bounce house correctly.

Set Up Rules for the Bounce House

Before you allow your guests to get into the bounce house, make sure that they are aware of rules of the bounce house. Though the company you rent from will have a set of rules that should be followed, you may want to add your own rules as well. Rules are what will keep everyone safe. Some good examples of rules, especially for children, are: No shoes in the bounce house, bounce now, eat later and no pushing, shoving, kicking or hitting.

Know What to Expect from the Company

Because different companies will have different ways of delivering and setting up their bounce houses, it will be a good idea to find out if they expect anything from you or if you just need to provide a space for the bounce house. Listen to what they need and try to provide that to the best of your ability in order to ensure that you have a seamless set up and take down once your event has been completed.
